This page was made to address some common issues people have when playing on and/or attempting to join Aryntius. If your issue is not listed here, it is suggested to contact us via our official discord server.
Q: I can't connect to the server! A: Check to see if the IP is correct. It should be play.aryntius.com. No http://, no www, nothing. JUST play.aryntius.com. Also make sure there are no spaces or extra characters in the IP.
Q: I'm getting an ERROR: Unknown Host A: Try refreshing slowly, a few times (roughly 15 seconds between refreshes). If it still doesn't work, check your DNS settings. It's possible that your router may be blocking traffic so that you are unable to connect to any server. In this case, it is suggested to follow the instructions on this page. A2: Alternatively, if you are using a client that is modded with Forge, it is possible Enjin's DNS servers are blocking you from pinging the server due to how much data Forge clients transfer in a single packet. The only solution in this case is to join the server without Forge installed.
Q: I'm getting ERROR: outdated client! A: Update your Minecraft client. We currently support Minecraft 1.12-1.12.2
Q: I'm getting: ERROR: outdated server! A: This means Minecraft has updated and our server is running on an earlier version. Use the Minecraft profile editor in your launcher to select the specified version to play on. Currently, we support Minecraft 1.12-1.12.2
Q: I'm getting: ERROR: The authentication are under maintenance! A: That means Mojang's login servers are down, so it is impossible to log in to Minecraft. The best you can do is wait while checking this page: click me
Q: I'm getting: Server under maintenance! A: The server is undergoing maintenance and should be up shortly. Check the website announcements for details.
Q: I'm seeing missing chunks everywhere! A: Disconnect and reconnect. It should fix it. If that doesn't work, restart your Minecraft client.
Q: I can't load the world at all! A: Hold F3 then press A. Sometimes client chunk loading will bug out like that. If that doesn't work, it simply means your internet is having issues and cannot receive data from the server fast enough.
Q: I just lost my house/claim and can't find it! A: We can probably help you find your house if it's claimed. If it's not, tough luck. Remember to use /sethome when making a house, or you won't be able to get back!
Q: I can't use X! A: If it's not banned in the rules, please post your problem on the support forums.
